How to keep your tan

How to keep this star complexion as long as possible?
No worries, we dove into the question and we deliver it all to you on a silver platter. It's a gift!
To know how to keep your tan you must first understand the mechanism of tanning, the different SPFs, know what type of skin you have and what oils to use: we explain everything to you.

Tanning, how does it work?
Tanning is our body's reaction to the sun. What do we really know about tanning other than that it gives us a nice tan and is good for morale?
It is actually a protection that our body puts in place because it considers the sun as an enemy that attacks us! Like what, our brain wants the sun while our body, not really... the sun is a false friend. Indeed, it can burn our epidermis, modify our cells and sometimes damage our DNA. Fortunately, oils like carrot, avocado, and marula are there to provide vitamins and omega!
. Our skin is made up of two “layers”: the epidermis which is the superficial part. the dermis, composed of many permanent layers. The cells responsible for tanning are divided into 2 types: keratinocytes and melanocytes.
Melanocytes, as their name suggests, are the ones that create melanin, and, unlike keratinocytes, they will keep the rays. The pretty tanned skin?

It is them. Keratinocytes have the particularity of being able to multiply and their mission is to block the rays, and prevent them from entering our skin so that they cannot touch our cells. In the special summer combo, melanin is a colored pigment that allows you to have tanned skin. And this is due to UV (ultraviolet) rays. There are two types of UV: A and B. To better understand the action of the two rays, imagine it like a race.
UV A rays are characterized as sprinters. In other words, they are the first rays to come into contact with the melanocytes and oxidize them in a few minutes. But like all good things, this pigmentation does not last long. This is why we think we are very tanned when we are in the sun and our tan fades a little in the evening.
We usually see the fruits of their hard work 2 days later and reach the peak of the tan in 20 days. B-rays are more of the "slow but sure" type, so they are marathon runners. They also reach the melanocytes and they are responsible for our tan,
you still have to prepare your skin beforehand so as not to burn it and moisturize it afterward with carrot, avocado, and marula oils!

o expose yourself to the sun you have to protect yourself! This involves putting on carrot oil for example, and above all, putting on sunscreen! Knowing that some skins are more afraid of the sun than others, such as fair skin, for example, the SPF of your sunscreen must be adapted.

Despite being seen everywhere and vaguely knowing what it is, do you really know what SPF is? We explain it to you.

FOCUS ON THE SPF

This SPF indicates the level of protection of sunscreen or a product in general. So the higher the SPF, the higher the protection. It counters the famous UV B and reduces or even prevents our best enemies: sunburn. However, it is not a flawless shield because it does not protect against all the negative aspects of UV.

To be sure to limit the action, it is generally advised to avoid exposure between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. because that is when the sun hits the hardest. You can also opt for a straw hat or even a bob depending on your style of glasses and if possible protect yourself with a t-shirt

Note that there are levels of SPF:

this is really very weak protection. Some oils also have an SPF of 6 so that's to say! It doesn't protect much.

it's average protection but it's already better, but it's not that yet.

50 and more: very very high (the cream of the crop…)

Each level blocks a percentage of rays. So obviously, in the case of SPF, the higher the protection, the more UV B is blocked. For example, between a cream with an SPF of 30 and the other of 40, the one has countered 92% of the rays so choose your creams carefully because we only have one life

, each of us has solar capital. We can compare it to a fuel gauge: the more we expose ourselves to the sun, the more we consume, and therefore the less
